I went to the Himalayan festival this weekend, and it was generally very quiet; the Dalai Lama was here last month, so maybe this is an anticlimax for people. No kukhris for sale this year, but there was a guy selling masks like the one Miyuki is wearing in the second box of this picture here, which is pretty cool to see in person.
